EPS/UPS
Your Emergency Power Supply (EPS) / Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems keep your power on in the event of a power cut.
It is a common misconception that Solar PV systems continue to work during a power cut. In fact standard systems are designed to stop providing power in the event of a power cut. This is to ensure electricity from your panels is not sent back down your supply lines when people might be working to fix them.
EPS/UPS systems automatically isolate your property from the supply grid in the event of a power cut, while still providing you with power. Once the power cut is over these systems seamlessly reconnect you.
EPS/UPS systems come with various Battery Storage sizes, and dependent on your energy usage can power:
- An entire home/business
- Selected circuits:

Inverters
